Your choices
Optional technologies remain off until you actively select them. Use at any time to accept, reject or revise those choices. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent sign-in, security, maps or the basket from working. The analytics feature also honours supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.
Optional first-party analytics
When you consent to usage analytics, Off Grid Camp counts successful visits to useful public pages. The site creates a one-way, keyed HMAC visitor token from the connection address and browser user agent so repeat visits can be estimated without storing either source value. It records the page path without its full query string, a broad page category, campsite reference where relevant, broad audience, device and referral-source categories, and any cleaned search term entered on the Explore page. It does not store the raw connection address, raw browser user agent, full referrer or full query string.
The connection address is also checked against the GeoLite2 country database to produce a coarse two-letter country code. Only that country code is added to a daily aggregate; the raw address is immediately discarded by the analytics process. No precise GPS, coordinates or other precise location data are requested or stored. This product includes GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind.
Individual page-view records and daily country aggregates are kept for no more than 90 days, after which they are deleted. Analytics is operated by this site and is not sent to a third-party analytics service.
Marketing
The preference panel includes a marketing choice, but no marketing or advertising technology is currently connected, so selecting it has no present effect.
Maps and external media
The interactive map requests standard map tiles from OpenStreetMap. If you select Satellite, it requests imagery from Esri instead. Those providers receive ordinary connection data such as an IP address and browser details when their tiles are loaded. Some preview artwork is still served from the existing Off Grid Camp website. These services are not used here for advertising.
