The Off Grid Camp Pledge: Our Commitment to Responsible Adventure
At Off Grid Camp, we believe that discovering the UK’s wilder corners is a privilege. Our unique network of privately-owned locations exists because of trust – trust between us, our amazing hosts, and you, our members.
To ensure every adventure is positive, that our locations remain pristine, and that we can continue unlocking incredible off-grid experiences for everyone, all members must agree to uphold these four pledges before joining. This is how we explore responsibly, together.
- I agree to be self sufficient. I will not expect toilets, bins, water or any facilities unless these luxuries (!) are offered by the individual Off Grid Camp locations.
- I agree to leave no trace. I will take all rubbish away with me and leave no trace. Not even a rogue tissue, burnt fire mark or unnecessary tyre tracks.
- I agree to ‘The Poo Pledge’. Where no facilities are provided, I agree to bring a shovel or to have a self contained toilet and ensure that there is no evidence of my business for future campers.
- I agree to drive responsibly and within my capabilities at Off Grid Camp locations. I will liaise directly with landowners and adhere to their requests.
By committing to these pledges, you’re not just agreeing to rules; you’re actively helping to preserve the beauty of our locations, building vital trust with our landowners, and ensuring future generations of Off Grid Campers can continue to experience these truly special places.
Thank you for helping us keep these wild adventures possible.
